Die ProCredit Holding AG & Co. KGaA (ProCredit Holding) beabsichtigt, in K\u00fcrze ihre ersten Green Bonds zu begeben. Die zur Weltbank Gruppe geh\u00f6rende International Finance Corporation (IFC) hat gestern eine Vereinbarung unterzeichnet, nach der sie in Green Bonds mit einem Gesamtvolumen von 90 Mio. US-Dollar investiert, die von der ProCredit Holding auf dem Wege eines Private Placements begeben werden. Die ProCredit Holding ist die Muttergesellschaft der entwicklungsorientierten ProCredit Gruppe, die aus Gesch\u00e4ftsbanken f\u00fcr kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) mit operativem Fokus auf S\u00fcdost- und Osteuropa besteht. Das Unternehmen wird den Emissionserl\u00f6s aus der Begebung ihrer ersten Green Bonds zur Finanzierung \u201egr\u00fcner\u201c Investitionen der KMU-Kunden der ProCredit Banken verwenden, die sich auf Energieeffizienz, erneuerbare Energien und umweltfreundliche Ma\u00dfnahmen konzentrieren.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nach Kenntnis von ProCredit Holding und IFC werden damit auf dem deutschen Markt erstmals auf die Finanzierung \u201egr\u00fcner\u201c Investitionen von KMU in Schwellenl\u00e4ndern abzielende Green Bonds von einer Finanzinstitution begeben. Die Platzierung der Green Bonds wird f\u00fcr das zweite und dritte Quartal 2019 erwartet.<\/p>\n

Mit diesem Engagement m\u00f6chte die IFC \u00fcber die ProCredit Banken weitere Finanzierungsoptionen f\u00fcr umweltfreundliche Investitionen von KMU schaffen. Ebenso soll damit in den L\u00e4ndern, in denen ProCredit t\u00e4tig ist, der Wandel von Wirtschaftssystemen mit einem hohen CO2-Aussto\u00df hin zu einer Wirtschaftsweise mit geringem CO2-Aussto\u00df gef\u00f6rdert werden.<\/p>\n

Die ProCredit Banken leisten in diesem Zusammenhang mit ihrer Fokussierung auf KMU einen wertvollen Beitrag zu einer \u00f6kologisch verantwortungsvollen \u00f6konomischen Entwicklung in ihren L\u00e4ndern. Aus diesem Grund ist die ProCredit Gruppe f\u00fcr die IFC in ihrem Bem\u00fchen, die Verf\u00fcgbarkeit von \u201egr\u00fcnen\u201c Finanzierungsm\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr KMU zu erh\u00f6hen, ein wichtiger Partner.<\/p>\n

Die Finanzierung von \u201egr\u00fcnen\u201c Investitionen ist ein schnell wachsender Teil des entwicklungsorientierten Gesch\u00e4ftsmodells der ProCredit Gruppe. Ihr Portfolio an \u201egr\u00fcnen\u201c Krediten belief sich zum 31. Dezember 2018 auf rund 678 Mio. EUR und machte damit zu diesem Zeitpunkt einen Anteil von 15,4 % des Gesamtkreditportfolios aus. Allein 2018 wuchs das \u201egr\u00fcne\u201c Kreditportfolio der ProCredit Gruppe um 39 %. Mittelfristig will ProCredit den Anteil der \u201egr\u00fcnen\u201c Kredite am Gesamtportfolio auf 20 % erh\u00f6hen.<\/p>\n

Ein \u00f6ffentliches Angebot der Green Bonds erfolgt nicht, und die Bonds werden bei Platzierung nicht an einer B\u00f6rse notiert. Die Emission der Green Bonds erfolgt gem\u00e4\u00df der Leitlinien des Green Bond Frameworks der ProCredit Gruppe, das sich gem\u00e4\u00df Best\u00e4tigung durch die Second Party Opinion von Sustainalytics vom 3. Oktober 2018 an den Green Bond Principles 2018 der International Capital Market Association orientiert.<\/p>\n

Auch f\u00fcr ihre eigenen unternehmerischen Aktivit\u00e4ten setzt sich die ProCredit Gruppe ehrgeizige Nachhaltigkeitsziele. Eines der mittelfristigen Ziele ist, dass die eigenen Gesch\u00e4ftsaktivit\u00e4ten der ProCredit Gruppe CO2-neutral ablaufen sollen. Ebenso beabsichtigt die ProCredit Gruppe, in das Training von Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern zu investieren, um das bereits hohe Niveau an sozialem und \u00f6kologischem Verantwortungsbewusstsein als wesentliche S\u00e4ule f\u00fcr verantwortungsbewusstes Banking weiter zu st\u00e4rken.
